What is UPCASE?

UPCASE is a method for self-assessment of capability of the usability process of small organizations. This method allows members of the organization to prepare and carry out process assessment, regardless of their degree of knowledge in the process improvement area. The result of the process assessement indicates the capability classification of the usability process and points out which activities need to be improved. In this way, UPCASE may be used as a starting point to improve the usability process ofyour organization.


How it was created?

The UPCASE method is a result of the master's research of Thaisa C. Lacerda in the graduate program of the Departament of Informatics and Statistics of the Federal Univertisy of Santa Catarina, realized at GQS/INCoD/UFSC in cooperation with CTI Renato Archer.
